There are loads of provocative questions we could ask ourselves under the ‘banner’ of 90 days left in 2023!
1. What would you do if these were your last 90 days on the planet?
Less dramatic …
2. What goals do you have for the next 90 days? 3. ANYTHING you want to STOP doing in the next 90 days? 4. Anybody you want to forgive / reconnect / connect with in the next 90 days?
90 days is a great time period, it's basically 3 months. It's a sufficient block to achieve progress, but short enough to leave no room for procrastination, which inevitably leads to a greater likelihood of success!
Self reveal: my answers from 1 - 4
I’d take my children, my grandchildren, my mom, my sisters (& their families), and my besties to a GREAT Bush Resort for 40 days, and then to a beach / island for 50 days.
I love the James Clear quote: “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. Your goal is your desired outcome. Your system is the collection of daily habits that will get you there." My new ‘system’ : 2min plank before I brush my teeth in the morning, and a 2 min plank before I brush my teeth at night. No excuses, like ‘running late’ / ‘too tired’. Afterall the latter doesn’t prevent me from brushing my teeth twice a day… what’s another two mins?
I am going to STOP working on a Fridays, from 1pm onwards. My first job 34 years ago was for Lipton, Unilever and we finished work at 3' ish on a Friday… and funnily enough my brain is still NOT hard-wired to work on a Friday afternoon !
