Collaboration in the Intelligent Age

The 2025 Davos theme is "Collaboration in the Intelligent Age." I love it! On the same day that Davos kicked off, so did Unique Speaker Bureau's Speaker Showcase.

A big shout out to #USBI for a fantastic event - a true testament to the power of collaboration! The showcase was a marvel of technological prowess and human ingenuity, with 37-meter screens and expert sound and lighting, creating a terrific immersive experience for about 500 leaders and L&D professionals. Each speaker had a challenging 4-minute slot to present their ideas. #TOUGH.

This format not only pushed us to distill our messages but also highlighted the importance of collaboration among speakers -respecting each other's time, knowing that going over would impact our fellow presenters.It was fantastic to reconnect and to see mates Nadia Bilchik (from Atlanta), Andy Preston - Motivational Sales Speaker - Sales Training - SKO and Bev Hancock (from UK), and our SA stars: Mike Handcock (who ROCKED people on stage playing his guitar), Landi Jac, Brad Shorkend, and Ian Rheeder.

The spirit of cooperation extended beyond the stage, as we shared key learnings and constructive feedback post-event.

My presentation, "From CAN'T to CAN DO Leadership: Working Alongside Artificial Intelligence," focused on how high-performing leaders in the Intelligent Age need CAN Do Leaders at the helm working in a world of unprecedented change and uncertainty!

These leaders must harness AI's capabilities while leveraging uniquely human skills like empathy, creativity, and ethical decision-making. I also loved reconnecting with former clients, some unseen for 7 or 12 years. These face-to-face interactions reminded me of the irreplaceable value of real human connections in our increasingly digital world.The #USBI Speaker Showcase exemplified "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age" in action, bringing together diverse voices, cutting-edge technology, and mutual support to create an environment ripe for innovation and learning. As we navigate the complexities of the Intelligent Age, events like this remind us that our greatest strength lies in our ability to collaborate. Finally a shout out to the entire #USBI Team, especially Cathy Johnson, who calmly liaised with 22 maverick Speakers. Flip, I wouldn't want her job!‍
