This morning, my diary was invaded—not by tasks or deadlines, but by a massive fly/bug/creature of sorts. It was so big and sprawling that it covered my entire Monday, December 2nd, 2024 on the page. No joke. See my pic below.
Behind my diary you can see my pencil case cheerfully chirping, “Live, Love, Shine,” and my mug boldly declaring, “JOY.” A perfect Monday setup, right?
For a moment, I seriously debated taking this as a cosmic signal to scrap my Monday entirely. “The Universe is nudging me,” I thought.
But then reality hit—rescheduling meetings in Silly Season? Almost impossible.
So, I did the next best thing: I paused. (Not an easy feat for me on a Monday morning!) And in that pause, a few questions—triggered by the ugly bug—came to mind:
Life throws us curveballs—or, in my case, giant bugs—all the time. It’s not about swatting them away or losing our cool. It’s about showing up, shining through, and finding the joy even in the madness.
So, today, instead of letting unexpected challenges take over:
✅ Smile in the face of disruptions (even rude comments in meetings).
✅ Focus on shining, no matter what lands on your “Monday.”
✅ Ask yourself, What’s the message here?
Here’s to a joyful, shiny Monday—bugs and all! 🪲✨
P.S. You can’t make this STUFF up—this happened five minutes ago!
